This Baseball5 coaching tool is made to be an easy tracker for play-by-plays with hitting directional data included. The hitting directions is what sets this tool apart from other apps for tracking games. The tool is developed for fast and easy tracking, which allows for the tool to be used from your smartphone during the game. This tool is great for the assistant coach, the injured player on the bench or anyone in your coaching staff that can be allocated to track games live as you play.
Completed games are stored locally in the app (session based), but can also be synced to your Google Sheets document for later use. But the local storage is more than enough for you to be able to review the stats from your game between sets or in the evening after a day of fierce games. You can also use the tracker as a scouting tool while watching your next opponent play in games before you meet them: The B5 Stat-Tracker will show you the individual players preferred hitting direction, the teams overall preferred hitting directions in all 24 Base/out states of the game, which will prepare your team for what’s coming.
To use the app, you need to login with your google account to get connected with Google Sheets. You don’t have to upload your stats to Google Sheets, but we recommend it, since you can then later upload your collected stats from Google Sheets to the “Lineup Architect App”
