3 VS 3 MINI GAME FOR YOUR BASEBALL5 PRACTICE

For practices where you don’t have quite enough players attending to organize skirmish games of 5 vs 5 in a regular baseball5 game, you can opt to modify the field and play “Baseball3”. “Baseball3” is just what we call a 3 vs 3 game of baseball5 where we change the field dimensions to be played with only 3 bases: 1st base, 2nd base (where 3rd base usually is) & 3rd base (the batters box).

By changing the number of bases, and keeping the 13 m distance between the bases we are also making the fair-territory more narrow for the hitter. So even though there are less fielders to stop the batted ball, the area of play is also relatively smaller making it more difficult on the batter as well.
